Completed

An existing commercial building in the Christchurch CBD, originally constructed in the 1920s as a reinforced concrete structure comprising four storeys above ground and a basement level.

The building has undergone a comprehensive structural upgrade and refurbishment, including seismic strengthening to significantly improve earthquake performance, a modern commercial fit-out, and an extended lift system for improved accessibility.

The strengthening has been carefully integrated into the existing heritage structure, increasing its load capacity and resilience while preserving compatibility with the original building character.
