Under Construction
A high-end four-level residential building in Kaiteriteri, Tasman District, set into a steep hillside and currently under construction.
The structure combines heavily reinforced concrete foundations and retaining walls with lightweight steel and timber framing above. Upper levels include garage and expansive living spaces supported by structural steel framing and composite floor systems, while lower levels utilize concrete shear walls and slab systems founded directly on solid rock.
A custom swimming pool is also integrated into the site, supported on rock with a dedicated concrete sub-structure. The design combines concrete and steel systems to provide stability, strength, and reliable earthquake performance on a steep hillside site.
